Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Mahe Chandrabose, the artist behind Mayil Gallery.

Art has been a part of my life since childhood. While my academic journey led me to earn a Master's degree in Microbiology, my passion for painting and illustration never faded.

For many years, I created artwork only for my family and close friends. Then I realized that art deserves to be shared with everyone. That simple thought inspired me to create Mayil Gallery.

Today, I create Tanjore paintings, miniature art, watercolour paintings, and digital illustrations, each crafted with patience, creativity, and attention to detail.

My hope is that every artwork brings beauty, joy, and a personal connection to the people who welcome it into their homes.

Thank you for supporting my journey.

With gratitude,

Mahe Chandrabose
